Where It All Began

Two hundred and fifty years ago the analgesic we now call aspirin was discovered by a man at Oxford University from the bark of a willow tree.

This product is one of the most widely taken medicines in the world every day. The active ingredient is now synthetically made but it is still the same as the chemical in the bark and is just one example of how a mainstream drug can trace its origins back to a perfectly natural plant.

Most people recognise how beneficial garlic is and yet you would not expect your doctor to prescribe it. And so it is with many supplements that you can buy on line at places such as The Finchley Clinic. All the products are completely natural and yet there is often scepticism from people who forget where the aspirin came from and how the garlic is dispensed by the greengrocer!

The big pharmaceutical companies really are hugely wealthy and exceptionally powerful with certain arrogance when it comes to some supplements but the simple point is that if you don’t try then how will you know how good or ineffective they are?

There are hundreds of supplements available here of which MSM is just one example. By the way, it is abbreviated to MSM because the full chemical name of this sulphur based product is as long as the Welsh railway station and just as hard to say and spell in full.

Read about this product and make your own mind up as to whether it may be of help to you. There are a number of claims about the effectiveness of the product but it helps greatly that on all these pages there is plenty of feedback from people who have tried it all before you.

Like many supplements, just like prescribed drugs, there are times when one works for one person but not for the next and vice versa so the only way to know is to give it a go.
