The Power of Mother’s Milk

It’s pretty obvious that a new born baby thrives best on mother’s milk and this is as true for humans as it is for all mammals.

The milk produced after the birth of an offspring is packed with all sorts of beneficial substances that includes immunoglobulins, peptides and bioactive molecules that include growth factors. It’s a rich cream substance that goes toward preparing the digestive system by fortifying the lining adding extra protection.

For this reason it is often taken by athletes preparing for big sporting events. The act of strengthening the lining of the intestines meansthere is less chance of any leakage that often occurs during excessive physical training.

Of course we cannot find supplies of mother’s milk on a commercial scale but this almost miraculous natural liquid is sourced mostly from organically fed cow’s milk immediately after calving.

There’s no need to ask a dairy farmer what is colostrum because traditionally the farmer’s wife will bake the most delicious puddings with it.

Some nutritionists and health professionals believe that almost all illnesses other than air born virus begin in the gut where anything that goes wrong with the digestive system can lead to many assorted health problems.

Athletes that take it as a powder supplement that can be diluted and drunk report a reduction in many seemingly unrelated issues such as respiratory difficulties.

Colostrum is highly recommended for elderly people with an existing problem such as arthritis where strong pain killers are regularly taken. Any strong medicine such as that is likely to weaken the lining of the gut and this product is like a natural repair kit.

Throughout history many cultures have realised the importance of colostrum even if they’ve not been able to explain why. For thousands of years the Chinese have recognised it as a health giving product that has helped sufferers of all manner of illnesses.

For a new born baby, mother’s milk is the first step in creating a strong immune system and for adults the results can be the same especially after or during a long illness.
