The
interpretation of the five elements varies and depends upon whether you prefer
the Chinese version or the Japanese one.
The Japanese
believe the five elements essential to life are earth, water, fire, wind and
sky.
Without earth we
could not grow food but for sake of argument water must surely be leader of the
pack. Water not only refreshes our thirst and enables us live but as it is H2O
it supplies the two gases we need most with oxygen giving our blood life along
with every other cell in our body.
Oxygen is not
only absorbed through our lungs but it is also absorbed through the lining of
the small intestines into tiny blood capillaries along with all the other
nutrients that we derive from the food we eat.
Unfortunately
the food we generally eat today is not what hundreds of thousands of previous
generations have been eating and our guts are still trying to adapt to over-refined
foods, vast amounts of refined sugar and all the other junk we eat.
In particular we
do not eat enough fruit and vegetables especially those containing plenty of
roughage.
The complicated
mass of gut flora along with a kilo or two of bacteria covering
the insides of the alimentary canal, particularly in the large intestines, have
evolved since before man ever existed on Earth. The junk we chuck into our
mouths must confuse and hence the frequent complaints about bloated gut, constipation
and diarrhoea.
Other
complications set in that may seem unrelated but an upset gut that may have
impacted waste lodged along the way can contribute too many other problems from
candida to fatigue, and headaches to joint ache.
In effect an
unhealthy gut is an unhealthy person. For a long time people have found that by
taking a product that offers a boost of oxygen that is released in the
intestines, has over the course of that treatment made them feel a lot
healthier in many ways.
There are
several ones to choose from but over decades one of the most popular sold in
more than thirty countries is Aerobic Oxygen.
