Healthy Colons & Weight Loss

There have been many suggestions about the positive impact regularly cleansing your colon can have.
As well as being reported to help with a number of health issues such as migraines and fatigue, it is also thought that engaging in colonic cleansing regime can also kickstart or boost your weight loss.

This is obviously great news for anyone who is currently engaged on a weight loss regime but is it really as truthful a claim as people say?

The short answer is, yes.  With the average person carrying anywhere between 5 to 40 pounds of excess compacted faecal material in their intestinal tracts, ridding the body of this waste will most certainly cause you to lose some weight.  You can make use of a number of different methods to do this including:

  • Colonic irrigation
  • Enemas
  • Oxygen-based cleansers
  • Changes to diet

If you are looking to have a colonic cleansing carried out then it is well worth researching each of these methods and seeing for yourself which one would be most suitable.  Some people don’t like the idea of colonic irrigation although it is said to be entirely pain-free and a very simple procedure to carry out.  Others prefer to take the slower method and adopt a change in their diet.

A popular option is to buy a product specifically designed to break down faecal matter through the slow release of oxygen.  The oxygen converts the matter into liquid or gas form allowing it to pass through the body more easily.  Products such as Colosancome in capsule form and are simple and convenient to take.  They consist of a blend of oxides which, once absorbed into the body, begin a steady release of oxygen.

So, what does all this mean for weight loss potential?  The fact is, you will most likely see some adjustment in your weight from colon cleansing but it is by no means a permanent solution to weight loss and you should always engage in a healthy and well balanced lifestyle if you want to see significant weight reduction.
